Growing Hope Globally

Since 2008, Burry’s Church has dedicated 11.4 acres of church-owned cropland to raising crops for Growing Hope Globally (formerly Foods Resource Bank). The GHG motto is “A Christian Response to World Hunger.” One of our members, Tom Weil Sr., and his family, do the planting and harvesting in memory of their late son, Joey Weil.

Short Term Mission Trips

Adult and youth members are actively involved in short term missions in the Dominican Republic and Africa as well as participating in disaster relief within the United States. We will post information online about our upcoming mission trip, both local and abroad, and how you can get involved (whether you go with us or help us get there)!
