Since before the American Civil War, there has been an organized Sunday School at Burry’s Church. Every Sunday at 9:30am, we have Bible-based Sunday School classes for all age groups each Sunday that focuses on teaching the Bible: what God says to us through His Word, how to apply God’s Word to our lives, and how to share His Gospel Message with the world around us.

Each month, our Adult Sunday School class hosts a ‘song service’ with special teaching themes, times of worship through song, and a time to connect with others over coffee, tea, & doughnuts. When there is a fifth Sunday in the month, our Sunday School Team hosts a covered-dish lunch for the entire church directly after service.

Our Sunday School Team hosts several events for our community and church family each year such as a Strawberry Festival, Graduation Celebration & Picnic, a summer picnic, and Christmas caroling for the various retirement communities around us and members of our Golden-Agers Ministry.
